Well, it's finals week. The one week a semester every college student can agree on something- life is not beautiful. However, this semester I made a resolution: I would not be stressed during finals week. To accomplish this I studied my butt off during the rest of the semester so my grades wouldn't be held ransom by a final test. I thought it was a brilliant idea. Sure, I had more work during the semester, but at least I wouldn't be freaking out for a week straight like the rest of my classmates....FALSE. My brain hates me. It knows I have nothing riding on these upcoming finals but it INSISTS on being stressed. In fact, just to remind me about how stressed I am supposed to be, it has given me the great gift of an EYE TWITCH. Other things could cause a "going-on-8-day" eye twitch you say? Ok, sure. To get rid of the eye twich I have: eaten every thing I can get my hands on that contains potassium, worn my glasses (I look like a fool), and even have massaged my eye/face until they hurt. Still twitching. Therefore I have concluded it is my brains fault. Not to mention it added a second gift 2 days ago- the loss of hearing in my left ear. Lovely. How can you have a stuffed up ear when you have no other symptoms of any kind of sickness? RIDICULOUS. Finals week, why do you make my neurotic brain hate me?

Happy Birthday!
As I have mentioned before, my birthday was awesome. I thought is was going to be a little depressing because not only was I getting older, but I hasn't with my family. But it wasn't depressing at all! Jeri, Staci, Ryan and the children had me over for an amazing dinner and had ballons and a candy lei waiting for my arrival. After a delicious meal they brought out my FAVORITE pie, strawberry cheese from Ted's Bakery pictured below, with candles for me to blow out. It was the perfect birthday!

For Donna
This is for you Mom- evidence that I do in fact participate in school activites. In all honesty, you would have DIED watching this. Here is the backgroud: Every year the clubs put on a program called Songfest. It is held in the CAC, where all big events take place. I was invited to sing with the Tahitian Club about an hour before the program started. I had never heard the song before, but decided what the heck, I will sing. Well, you can guess how it went. Did I mention the song was in TAHITIAN?! And that it was performed in front of the ENTIRE UNIVERSITY?! What was I thinking....But I got involved in school activities and that is what counts, right? RIGHT? Don't worry Mom, no one knows my last name.... PS- Lucky for you, Lazel got the whole thing on my Flip!
